Our new Golden Door Spa logo has been designed to usher in the next 50 years at the Door and to represent both our resort spa and our destination spa locations in both a contemporary but timeless way. We feel, as with many of the most successful organizations, refreshing our image, while recognizing and honoring our past, will allow the Golden Door to continue to evolve and to grow.
The new brushstroke logo is designed to evoke and convey a number of messages. Some of those include the following:
- The brushstroke of the logo unit represents the blank canvas that each individual is and the life and legacy that they paint with the choices that they make. Those imprints can be influenced, inspired and impacted by the experiences they share, and the techniques they learn, at the Golden Door.
- The brushstroke further represents the dawn of a new day, something that each of our guests experience in their own personal way during their journey at the Door and something that the Door itself is experiencing as we transition from the past 50 years to the next 50 years.
- The brushstroke over the Golden Door name can be somewhat literally interpreted to represent the crest of the mountain rising over the original Golden Door Escondido spa represented by the letters which appear to be nestled in the valley
- The brushstroke and logo further represent the horizon of personal journey that each of our guests take during their experience at the Door. It represents the horizons that they can strive for in their own lives.
- In a more literal sense the brushstroke and logo can represent the horizon they strive for on the morning hikes or the daily bike rides up the mountain.
Our new Golden Door spa logo allows our guests and staff to refresh and rejuvenate, a core value of the Door itself and we are pleased with the manner in which it will represent the Golden Door’s next 50 years.
